- A guitar triad is a three-note chord made up of the root, third, and fifth notes of a scale. It forms the basic building block of most chords
- Triad usually has 3 forms
- Triad (the lowest note is the root note)
- 1st inversion (the lowest note is the 3rd)
- 2nd inversion (the lowest note is the 5th)
